Intranets.com Named One of New England's Fastest Growing Technology Companies in Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Program

"Leading on-demand collaboration service provider touts 200,000 users across 8,000 companies"

Woburn, MA (August 13, 2004) - Intranets.com (http://www.intranets.com), the world's leading provider of on-demand collaboration services, announced today it will be named to Deloitte's prestigious Technology Fast 50 Program for New England, a ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in the area by Deloitte & Touche LLP, one of the nation's leading professional services firms. Scheduled to be announced at a special event in Boston on September 15, 2004, the Technology Fast 50 rankings are based on the percentage of growth in fiscal year revenues over five years, from 1999-2003.

"Over the past four years, we have increased our revenue significantly while continuing to drive profits," said Rick Faulk, CEO of Intranets.com. "The market for our service is exploding as businesses realize the immediate value on-demand collaboration can bring to their organizations. We are honored to be recognized by the Deloitte Fast 50 for our business growth and it's a real tribute to the hard work of all of our employees."

Intranets.com is one of the largest paid subscription services on the web, touting 200,000 users from more than 8,000 companies, including many small-to-midsize businesses as well as enterprise clients such as NASA, the Home Depot and Keller Williams Realty. This year, Intranets.com has added several new product enhancements, including Group Scheduling and Web and Phone Conferencing, to further extend its leadership position in the on-demand collaboration space.

In addition to being named one of the Fast 50, Intranets.com is ranked by ASPNews as one of the world's Top 25 service providers. The company was also awarded the 2004 American Business Stevie Award for "Best Company Turnaround," and ranked by the Boston Business Journal as the third fastest growing private company in Massachusetts and one of the area's "Best Places to Work."

To qualify for the Technology Fast 50, companies must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 1999 and $1,000,000 in 2003, must be public or private companies headquartered in North America, and be a "technology company" defined as owning proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenues (using other companies' technology in a unique way does not qualify); and/or devoting a significant proportion of revenues to research and development of technology.

Winners of the 19 regional Technology Fast 50 programs in the United States and Canada are automatically entered in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 program, which ranks North America's top 500 fastest growing technology companies.
