Local technology company recognized for helping 9/11 non-profit consortium

Boston, MA (September 25, 2003) - Intranets.com, the leading provider of online collaboration services, was today honored by the 9/11 United Services Group (USG) in a recognition event hosted by New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg at Gracie Mansion. USG, a consortium of 39 human services organizations working on the front lines of the September 11th recovery efforts, along with Mayor Bloomberg, officially thanked more than 25 companies for providing their services to those working to help the thousands of people impacted by the events of September 11, 2001. As part of its community service outreach program, Intranets.com provided a secure collaboration site for use by USG Service Coordinators - case workers who have one-on-one, long term relationships with people affected by 9/11 - to help them build a personal recovery plan. The site enables constant communication among USG Service Coordinators by acting as their information portal and discussion forum. Currently, more than 500 people and 40 organizations working with USG are utilizing Intranets.com's online collaboration services.
